Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to provide through membership, member-access, newsletter and discussion forms. Depending on the form, this may include your name, contact details, address, professional information, policy interests, application statement, contribution, source links and declared interests. Basic technical logs may also be created by our hosting and security providers.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, assess membership applications, administer membership, confirm newsletter requests, moderate policy contributions, maintain website security and meet applicable legal or regulatory duties. We do not sell personal information.
Who receives it
Authorised Ghana Policy Exchange personnel and service providers supporting website hosting, security and email delivery may process information only as needed for these purposes. Discussion contributions are not published automatically. We will follow the attribution preference supplied with a contribution.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, administration, safeguarding the editorial record, or applicable legal obligations. Access is limited according to role, and we review records for deletion or anonymisation when they are no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion where applicable, withdraw consent for future communications, or raise a concern by emailing info@ghanapolicyexchange.org. We will verify requests where necessary and respond under applicable data-protection law.
